2. Information on the Procurement Exercise
Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.
The type of procurement and the procurement method is stated above. A full description of the procurement exercise is available within the documentation and available free of charge on ECEPP.
The documentation will include such information as: detailed technical and financial requirements; any information on lots; the expected outcome; eligibility and qualification requirements; contract start date; planned contract duration; any response requirements; any other relevant information.

3. Other Information
The objective of this assigment is to assist the City in developing and adopting a new bus network and any related measures to ensure operational efficiency and enable competitive tendering for future bus routes. The study shall cover the following key aspects: (i) review of public transport sector and bus operations; (ii) demand study and preparation of the new bus network plan, including definition of bus priority lanes measures and an implementation plan; (iii) operational strategy, investment plan and funding mechanisms; (iv) institutional and regulatory framework for Skopje public transport including existing tariff and ticketing system. With support from the Company, the City and the Bank as required, the Consultant shall liaise with the consultants working on the related assignments, such as preparation of a PSC between the public operator JSP and the City and development of the related corporate development programme, to ensure effective implementation and monitoring of services provided under the PSC.
Since the City of Skopje is working on the introduction of two (2) BRT lines, the proposal of the network of public and suburban transport lines should offer 3 (three) variant solutions:
- a new network of lines only on bus lines;
- a new network of lines with BRT line 1;
- a new network of lines with BRT line 1 and BRT line 2.
