The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from, or Grant administered by, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development ('the Bank') for the above named project. Additional financing details are as follows:

This contract will be funded by an EBRD loan of 7,500,000.00 EUR


Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from/ grant administered by the Bank and will be open to firms from any country.


The client now invites tenders for the above mentioned contract(s). Additional description is as follows:

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from, or Grant administered by, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development ('the Bank') for the above named project. Additional financing details are as follows:

a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank)
Project to be financed through EBRD loan proceeds with potential co-financing by Green Energy Special Fund (GESF).

The proposed project, which has a total estimated cost of 15,000,000.00 EUR, will require the procurement of the following:

- Goods for Reconstruction of the existing low and medium voltage networks
- Supply and Installation of Smart Metering in the region covered by the Company

Tendering for the above contracts is expected to begin on 31/01/2019.

Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from/ grant administered by the Bank will be open to firms from any country.


The proceeds of the loan from, or Grant administered by, the Bank will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, of for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law or official regulation of the Client's country.

Other Information: The ZEDP Elektro Bijeljina A.D. Bijeljina (Elektro Bijeljina or the Company) is the state owned power distribution company in Republika Srpska - Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Company has applied for a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) finance the supply of goods for reconstruction of medium and low-voltage power distribution networks as well as the supply and installation of Smart Metering system. The intention is to also make the use of a concessional tranche provided by the Green Energy Special Fund (GESF), which is a Special Fund established and administrated by the Bank with the contribution of the Taiwanese International Cooperation and Development Fund (Taiwan ICDF) to support EBRD projects related to investments in efficient energy technologies (also known as green).

The contract is expected to start on 31/05/2019 and last about 36 months.
