General Procurement Notice

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from, or Grant administered by, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development ('the Bank') for the above named project. Additional financing details are as follows:

a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank), Grant administered by the Bank, Co-financed, from Client's own funds towards the cost of the above named project
EBRD Loan EUR 39.50 mil, EIB 52.98, EU/WBIF EUR 79.80 mil and Client EUR 48.20

The proposed project, which has a total estimated cost of 220,479,000.00 EUR, will require the procurement of the following:

• The Project aims at rehabilitation of the southern part of rail road 10 in the Republic of Kosovo. It has been structured in 3 Phases : Fushe Kosove - FYR Macedonia Border section (Phase I); Fushe Kosove - Mitrovice section (Phase II); and Mitrovice - Serbia Border section (Phase III). The 1st phase is under implementation. The other two phases will comprise in the following contracts:
  -Rehabilitation works for Fushe Kosove - Mitrovice section (Phase II)
  -Rehabilitation works for Mitrovice - Serbia Border section (Phase III)
  -Signalling and Telecommunications (phases I and II)
  -Detailed Design & Tender Documents (Phase III)
  -Project Implementation Support (Phase III)
  

Tendering for the above contracts is expected to begin on 21/01/2019.

Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from/ grant administered by the Bank will be open to firms from any country.


The proceeds of the loan from, or Grant administered by, the Bank will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, of for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law or official regulation of the Client's country.
