General Procurement Notice

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from, or Grant administered by, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development ('the Bank') for the above named project. Additional financing details are as follows:

a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank), from Client's own funds towards the cost of the above named project
Client will cover the cost of VAT of 18% and the estimated cost including VAT is shown below.


The proposed project, which has a total estimated cost of 15,340,000.00 EUR, will require the procurement of the following:

• Upgrade and modernization of existing toll stations on Corridor VIII as well as the construction of three toll stations on new highway sections;
  The installation of equipment to link the upgraded and new toll stations to the toll operation centre in Petrovec near Skopje;
  The construction of an additional lane to increase the capacity of the Miladinovci toll station on Corridor VIII;
  The installation of photo voltaic solar panels on all the existing and new toll stations that are being built on the entire motorway network in the country.

Tendering for the above contracts is expected to begin on 15/04/2019.

Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from/ grant administered by the Bank will be open to firms from any country.


The proceeds of the loan from, or Grant administered by, the Bank will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, of for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law or official regulation of the Client's country.

Tendering for this project will be conducted by e-procurement using the EBRD Client E-Procurement Portal (ECEPP). Prospective participants who have registered in ECEPP and expressed an interest in the contract may access the documents and may request clarification and further information from the client through ECEPP.
