General Procurement Notice

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from, or Grant administered by, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development ('the Bank') for the above named project. Additional financing details are as follows:

a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank), from Client's own funds towards the cost of the above named project
EBRD Loan RON 67,500,000
City of Sibiu own funds 20,800,000

The proposed project, which has a total estimated cost of 88,300,000.00 RON, will require the procurement of the following:

• The project aim upgrade and refurbish earth streets in the city. The only tenders to be placed under the project are the following:
  - Rehabilitation of streets in Area Turnisor IV-Gusterita II: Mozaicului, Varului, Zavoi (section II), Neppendorf, Granitului,Bradului, Macazului, Viilor streets (on-going tender)
  - Rehabilitation of streets in Areas Terezian, Tiglari II and Lazaret III
  - Rehabilitation of streets in Gusterita-Tilisca Area
  
  

Tendering for the above contracts is expected to begin on 17/06/2019.

Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from/ grant administered by the Bank will be open to firms from any country.


The proceeds of the loan from, or Grant administered by, the Bank will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, of for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law or official regulation of the Client's country.

Tendering for this project will be conducted by e-procurement using the EBRD Client E-Procurement Portal (ECEPP). Prospective participants who have registered in ECEPP and expressed an interest in the contract may access the documents and may request clarification and further information from the client through ECEPP.
