1. Funding Details
The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named contract(s).
Additional financing information:
The Borrower, the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, executed by the Tailings Management Agency (TMA) of the MINISTRY OF EMERGENCY SITUATION OF THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC intends using part of the proceeds of the Grant (Grant Agreement signed between the Bank and the Republic of Kyrgyzstan) from the Environmental Remediation Account for Central Asia (ERA) for eligible payments under the Contract for which this Tender Document is issued.
2. Information on the Procurement Exercise
Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.

3. Other Information
Subject of this tender exercise are construction works, necessary installations, environmental and safety control during the construction works for the remediation of the uranium production legacy sites in the village of Min-Kush (Naryn oblast). The technical works are divided into two Lots:
• Lot 1 - earth works, transport of contaminated material, hydraulic engineering on river banks and specific works on mining installations (e.g. closure and safeguarding of shafts and galleries)
• Lot 2 - demolition of buildings and structures
The contract is expected to start on 01/07/2020 and last about 16 months.
A guided site visit and Pre-Tender meeting will be held on March 19 2020 at 01 pm, local time (UTC+6) at the Ulica Tashtar Ata, 22A, Village Min-Kush. Participants must register with the client by March 17th. The Tenderers shall use their own vehicles for the site visit.
