General Procurement Notice

1. Funding Details

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named project.

Additional financing information:
Funding for the PIP will be from the Bank Loan and a capital grant from the EU Investment Grant for Central Asia (IFCA). Funding for associated technical cooperation will be met by IFCA and EBRD SSF. The Government of the Czech Republic financed the feasibility study.

2. Information on the Project

Project Description:
The project will finance a priority investment programme in Kulob aimed at the improvement and expansion of the network for solid waste collection and the construction of a sanitary landfill which complies with the core requirements of EU standards.
