1. Funding Details
The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named contract(s).

The above named contracts are to be financed using only the loan funds provided by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
2. Information on the Procurement Exercise
Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.
The type of procurement and the procurement method is stated above. A full description of the procurement exercise is available within the documentation and available free of charge on ECEPP.
The documentation will include such information as: detailed technical and financial requirements; any information on lots; the expected outcome; eligibility and qualification requirements; contract start date; planned contract duration; any response requirements; any other relevant information.
This procurement exercise will be conducted using the EBRD Client E-Procurement Portal (ECEPP). 3. Other Information
The goods to be procured are intended for installation of train management control system (dispatch centralization) on priority rail lines on Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) corridors in Ukraine.
The opportunity is devided in 7 lots in accordance with the railway line sections where the above equipment is to be installed:
Lot 1: Pomichna - Chornoliska, section length - 124 km;
Lot 2: Poltava-Pivdenna - Kremenchuk - Burty, section length - 152 km;
Lot 3: Lviv - Кrasne - Zdolbuniv, section length - 195 km;
Lot 4: Zdolbuniv -Shepetivka - Koziatyn, section length - 205 km;
Lot 5: Koziatyn - Fastiv - Kyiv, section length - 153 km;
Lot 6: Hrebinka - Myrhorod, section length - 98 km;
Lot 7: Podilsk - Pomiсhna, section length - 221 km.
The contracts are expected to start on 9 September 2020 and last about eight-twenty months.
