General Procurement Notice

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from, or Grant administered by, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development ('the Bank') for the above named project. Additional financing details are as follows:

A loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank), from Client's own funds towards the cost of the above named project
The Project is being financed by the Bank (EBRD) and the Company (KOSTT). In addition, the consulting services for Project Preparation and Capacity Building is being financed by Grant money.

The proposed project, which has a total estimated cost of 36000000 EUR, will require the procurement of the following:

• 1. Construction of a new 110 kV substation at Mitrovica (Mitrovica 2) and associated 110 kV overhead lines.
  2. Drenasi 2 (SS 220/35/10 kV & 220 kV transmission lines) and new 110 kV transmission line SS Rahoveci - SS Theranda
  3. Construction of Fushe Kosova (SS & transmission lines) and Pristina 6 (SS & 110 kV underground transmission cables)
  4. Consultancy Services for a Project Preparation and Capacity Building (selection process completed)
  5. Consultancy Services for a Project Implementation Consultant (selection process to be initiated)
  
  Tendering for the Contracts numbers 1, 3 and 5 is expected to commence autumn 2015.

Tendering for the above contracts is expected to begin on 15/09/2015.

Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from/ grant administered by the Bank will be open to firms from any country.


The proceeds of the loan from, or Grant administered by, the Bank will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, of for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law or official regulation of the Client's country.
