General Procurement Notice

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from, or Grant administered by, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development ('the Bank') for the above named project. Additional financing details are as follows:

a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank), Co-financed, from Client's own funds towards the cost of the above named project
EBRD financing will apply to the workover rigs, project of Energy efficiency (Lokachi Supply& Installation of WHRU and ORC technologies) and technical assistance of a PIU Consultant and a Lender’s Engineer.

The proposed project, which has a total estimated cost of 51,850,000.00 EUR, will require the procurement of the following:

• The scope of the project includes three parts:
  
  1. Increase of workover rigs fleet for faster and efficient well workover operations to decrease the downtime of existing UGV wells; (procurement process ongoing)
  
  2. A package of energy efficiency investments, which will introduce innovative ORC based waste heat recovery systems from existing gas turbines (the Lokachi Supply& Installation of WHRU and ORC technologies), and, (procurement process yet to be initiated)
  
  3. Technical assistance, namely the involvement of a PIU Consultant and a Lender’s Engineer. (procurement process yet to be initiated).

Tendering for the above contracts is expected to begin on 15/01/2019.

Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from/ grant administered by the Bank will be open to firms from any country.


The proceeds of the loan from, or Grant administered by, the Bank will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, of for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law or official regulation of the Client's country.
