General Procurement Notice

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from, or Grant administered by, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development ('the Bank') for the above named project. Additional financing details are as follows:

a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank), Grant administered by the Bank, from Client's own funds towards the cost of the above named project
The contract for the Consultancy Services will be financed by Technical Cooperation Funds managed by EBRD.

The proposed project, which has a total estimated cost of 101,000,000.00 EUR, will require the procurement of the following:

• BH-Gas d.o.o. Sarajevo (BH-Gas) intends using the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the “Bank” or “EBRD”) for the construction of the south interconnection natural gas pipeline interconnecting the natural gas transmission systems of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia. Interconnection gas pipeline in BiH starts from Croatia/BiH border, running via Posušje to Novi Travnik and will be connected to existing natural gas transmission system. The main branch to Mostar is an integral part of this Project as well. The realization of the Project enables diversification of routes as well as sources of supply (access to the planned LNG terminal Krk, natural gas storages in the neighbouring countries, gas sources in the Caspian region, etc.). The southern interconnection gas pipeline of approx. 162 km length is planned as bidirectional.
  
  It will require the procurement of the following:
  • Consultancy Services for a Feasibility Study (including Technical and Financial analysis and an Environmental Social Impact Assessment)
  • Goods, Works and Services for a new gas supply route for BiH from Croatia (tendering will commence after loan negotiations).

Tendering for the above contracts is expected to begin on 31/05/2019.

Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from/ grant administered by the Bank will be open to firms from any country.


The proceeds of the loan from, or Grant administered by, the Bank will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, of for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law or official regulation of the Client's country.

Tendering for this project will be conducted by e-procurement using the EBRD Client E-Procurement Portal (ECEPP). Prospective participants who have registered in ECEPP and expressed an interest in the contract may access the documents and may request clarification and further information from the client through ECEPP.
