General Procurement Notice

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from, or Grant administered by, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development ('the Bank') for the above named project. Additional financing details are as follows:

a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank)
The Loan will finance critical improvements in city solid waste and urban transport sector

The proposed project, which has a total estimated cost of 15,000,000.00 EUR, will require the procurement of the following:

  • The project will finance the following (I) procurement of new solid waste collection trucks; (ii) procurement of containers and (iii) construction and rehabilitation of city streets


Tendering for the above contracts is expected to begin on 30/09/2019.

Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from/ grant administered by the Bank will be open to firms from any country.


The proceeds of the loan from, or Grant administered by, the Bank will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, of for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law or official regulation of the Client's country.

Tendering for this project will be conducted by e-procurement using the EBRD Client E-Procurement Portal (ECEPP). Prospective participants who have registered in ECEPP and expressed an interest in the contract may access the documents and may request clarification and further information from the client through ECEPP. Other Information: In 2017 the City of Kragujevac with the purchase of new vessels, as well as vehicles fully fulfilled the program of waste disposal and the emission of harmful gases in the air is reduced because of the vehicles with new engines with reduced emissions. With the remaining funds of this component from the EBRD loan the City of Kragujevac need to purchase new bulldozer suitable for working at the landfill in order to enable the optimum operation of vehicles transporting waste, as well as maintenance of roads leading to the working body of the landfill.
Tendering of this remaining component for the new bulldozer will be at the end of the August 2018.
Within the loan of 15,000,000 EUR there are two more components. Rehabilitation of streets and new City bus terminal.
Tendering for the Rehabilitation of streets is expected to be launched in the third quarter of 2019 and for new City bus terminal in the first quarter of 2020.
