Invitation For Tenders Single

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from, or Grant administered by, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development ('the Bank') for the above named project. Additional financing details are as follows:

Works will be solely financed from the EBRD loan.


Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from/ grant administered by the Bank and will be open to firms from any country.


The client now invites tenders for the above mentioned contract(s). Additional description is as follows:

The Contractor is expected to perform all Works from km 63+696 to km 73+852 in accordance with the Main Design provided by the Employer.

The civil works will consist of (but shall not be limited to) the following:
* Preliminary works which include removal of trees and bushes, demolition of existing concrete curbs, pavement, prefabricated objects, traffic signs, manual excavation of tranches, adjustment of manholes and gullies;
* Substructure works which include topsoil removal, mechanical excavation, construction of embankment, subbase preparation, topsoiling of shoulders, excavation of new and cleaning of existing ditches;
* Superstructure works which includes construction of pavement structure: unbound base course of chorused stone, bituminous base course, wearing course; construction of cement stabilized base course layer with cold in situ recycling; supply and installation of precast concrete curbs; supply and installation of precast concrete elements: flumes, concrete channels, segment channels; supply and installation of drainage pipes;
* Works on structures (bridge) which includes site cleaning, removing of asphalt surface from the bridge, asphalt milling, removal of existing dilatation, removal of loose concrete, waste material, sandblasting of concrete surfaces, drilling the holes for anchors in concrete; manual excavation for construction of floating slabs, construction of structure wedges and embankments behind the floating slab, filling and compacting of soil; Installation and dismantling of scaffold; concreting of damaged foundations of slope round head, concreting of transition ramp on the shoulders, concreting of damaged parts of the slope round head, concreting of floating slabs, pedestrian paths and edge beams; reinforced works; Waterproofing of upper side of the bridge deck, filling of joints with cement mortar, installation of permanently elastic bitumen sealing tapes, construction of wearing course, embedding of anchors with sealing of holes with exmal, concrete surfaces protection layer, etc.;
* Works on drainage system improvement which includes earthworks (mechanical and manual excavation, trench backfilling etc.), supply and installation of drainage pipes, inlet fitings for manholes, RC manholes; construction of new culverts on approach roads;
* Other works which includes works on electrical installation: cable installation 20 kV, public lightning installation and works on telecomunication cable network;
* Roadside arrangement and placement of traffic signalization and road furniture.

The contract is expected to start on 13/11/2019 and last about 10 months.

The proceeds of the loan from/ grant administered by the Bank will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law or official regulation of the Client's country.
