Bosnia and Herzegovina (the Borrower) has signed a loan agreements with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) for financing of the Sarajevo Water Project (SWP.) The Project will be implemented by the Cantonal Public Water Utility Company - KJKP Vodovod i Kanalizacija d.o.o. Sarajevo (the Employer). The first tranche of the loan amounts to 10 mil. EUR and the Employer intends to apply the proceeds of this loan toward the cost of goods, civil works and consulting services, to be procured for the SWP.
Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules.

The client now invites tenders for the above mentioned contract(s). Additional description is as follows:
The Employer now invites sealed tenders from contractors for the following contracts to be funded from part of the proceeds of the loan:
- Contract No. 2: LOT 1: Reconstruction of water distribution pipeline DN 200 on Dumaca location, length 1.600 m; Ref. VIK 48252-2/18
- Contract No. 3: LOT 2: Reconstruction of pressure water pipeline DN 500 on Alipain Most- Centar section, lenght 1.500 m; VIK 48252-3/18
- Contract No. 4: LOT 3: Reconstruction of part of water distribution pipeline in Street Mula Mustafe Baseskije, length 1000 m; VIK 48252-4/18
The subject of this Invitation for Tenders is Contract No. 2, 3, and 4 only.
The procurement procedure to be applied is an Open tendering - single stage procedure.
The works contract is expected to be awarded and start in Q4 of 2018, with the duration of 6 months and Defects Notification Period of 12 months.
This tendering exercise will be conducted by e-procurement using the EBRD Client E-Procurement Portal (ECEPP). Interested firms should register on ECEPP at this link:

The proceeds of the loan from the Bank will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, of for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law of official regulation of the Client's country.
Prospective tenderers who have registered in ECEPP and expressed an interest in the contract may access the prequalification documents and may request clarification and further information from the client through ECEPP.
The contract is expected to start on 08/10/2018 and last about 6 months, with Defects Notification Period of 12 months.
