The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from, or Grant administered by, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development ('the Bank') for the above named project. Additional financing details are as follows:

The Borrower, the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, executed by the Tailings Management Agency (TMA) of the MINISTRY OF EMERGENCY SITUATION OF THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC intends using part of the proceeds of the Grant (Grant Agreement signed between the Bank and the Republic of Kyrgyzstan) from the Environmental Remediation Account for Central Asia (ERA) for eligible payments under the Contract for which this Tender Document is issued.



Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from/ grant administered by the Bank and will be open to firms from any country.


The client now invites tenders for the above mentioned contract(s). Additional description is as follows:

Subject of this tender exercise are construction works, necessary installations, environmental and safety control during the construction works for the remediation of the uranium production legacy sites in the village of Shekaftar (Dschalalabad oblast). The technical works could be generally divided into two main components, the filling and securing of open shafts and earth works for the relocation of waste rock to mine site no. 4.




The contract is expected to start on 02/03/2020 and last about 22 months.

This tender will be conducted by e-procurement using the EBRD Client E-Procurement Portal (ECEPP). Prospective participants who have registered in ECEPP and expressed an interest in the contract may access the documents and may request clarification and further information from the client through ECEPP. The proceeds of the loan from/ grant administered by the Bank will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law or official regulation of the Client's country.

Other Information:A guided site visit and Pre-Tender meeting will be held on December 13, 2019 at 10:00 hours, local time (UTC+6) at the town hall of Shekaftar. Participants must register with the client by December 11th.The Tenderers shall use their own vehicles for the site visit.
