The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from, or Grant administered by, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development ('the Bank') for the above named project. Additional financing details are as follows:

The above named contracts are to be financed using only the loan funds provided by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.


Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from/ grant administered by the Bank and will be open to firms from any country.


The client now invites tenders for the above mentioned contract(s). Additional description is as follows:

The goods to be procured are intended for reconstruction of the rail track on priority rail lines on Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) corridors. The goods are rail track structure components and switches for track gauge 1,520 mm.

The contract is expected to start on 21/04/2020 and last about six-eight months.

This opportunity is divided into 5 lots.
Tenderers may bid for a maximum of 5 lots.

Lot 1

Description: Wide gauge rails

Lot 2

Description: Special lining for isolation high-strength rail joint P65

Lot 3

Description: Railroad switch for track gauge 1,520 mm

Lot 4

Description: Set of rail fastenings spring loaded for P65 rails (anchor type)

Lot 5

Description: Set of spring loaded rail fastenings for R65 rails (dowel type)

This tender will be conducted by e-procurement using the EBRD Client E-Procurement Portal (ECEPP). The proceeds of the loan from/ grant administered by the Bank will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law or official regulation of the Client's country.
